When we clean and lube firearms we use the Professional Ultrasonic cleaner. The Ultrasonic cleaner uses a heated cleaning solution and ultrasonic energy to create cavitation. Ultimately, resulting in a perfectly clean firearm.

About Us

IGY6 is a military acronym for “I Got Your Back”. It’s kind of what I wanted this business to be about.
My interest in firearms began as a young boy with my father. It was later fueled by spending 13 years on active duty in the U. S. Marine Corps. When I left the Marines in 1986, I wanted to pursue my interest in firearms, however, I got hired on at BNSF Railroad. So, for the next 31 years just having a life was difficult. After retiring in 2020 and getting married in 2022 the dream resurfaced. I told my new wife about my dream and her reply was, “Whatever makes you happy Hun”. I started professional training with American Gunsmithing Institute and after 8 months of studying and 5 exams I became Certified. During this time, I also acquired my Federal Firearms License.
Since this endeavor was not going to be our main source of income, and I don’t have overhead like some brick-and-mortar stores, I’ve made a pledge to provide fair and honest pricing for Gunsmithing Services and Firearm Sales. View my Bona Fides.

Elite Firearm Cleaning
We all know how important it is to clean our firearms, not only to ensure proper function but for safe operation as well. We also know how time-consuming this can be, not to mention the mess. I’ve got your back in all these areas.
Professional Ultrasonic Cleaning and Lube
The firearm is completely disassembled, not just field stripped. Ultrasonic cleaning uses a heated cleaning solution and ultrasonic energy to create cavitation. Cavitation is microscopic liquid bubbles induced by high-frequency pressure waves. The power of this agitation clears contaminants from all the gun parts, inside and out. After the cleaning is complete and the parts dried, it is put into a lubrication tank and totally lubricated the same way. The lubrication dries to a protective coating. The firearm is then reassembled, during which time, the critical parts are hand lubed to ensure smooth operation. Click for video.
